Position Overview: You're an experienced onsite 2nd Line Support Engineer residing in the UK. You've been in this type of role or perhaps a field engineer role previously, providing deskside/drop-in/onsite support. You have developed strong analytical and technical skills in dynamic business environments. This means working with latest technologies and supporting users with your high-level customer support skills, is something you enjoy. Responsibilities: Working at multiple client sites in Central London potentially acting as the sole Support Services Engineer for that client or as part of a team. Handling client interaction, managing their expectations, reporting client facing risks and customer feedback with great professionalism. Meeting your SLAs ("Service Level Agreements") through troubleshooting, maintaining, and supporting a wide range of technical challenges. Taking ownership of your tickets with a customer focused attitude and being constantly involved in collaboration with the rest of the team. Gaining relevant qualifications and accreditations to further develop your skills (And we're happy to be able to provide this for you). Understanding the importance of problem ownership and client success and aiming for top rated client feedback. Understand the interoperability of the tech you are supporting on. Qualifications & Experience: Microsoft operating systems (Win 10/11/Server). Office 365 administration including Exchange Online (message trace), Teams (phoneline, group setup), OneDrive (Sync issues). Cloud: Azure - foundational knowledge of cloud concepts, services and management. Active Directory - experience in administration - user creation, permissions, group membership, group policy, OUs. Mobile Device Management - Policies, MFA, general admin. Anti-Virus. LAN/WAN networking equipment, routing/switching equipment including, but not limited to, Cisco, Dell, HP switches, routers and firewalls Hands on familiarity with PC/laptop hardware. Nice to Have: Virtualisation SCCM Formal IT qualification, ideally Azure, MCSE/MCITP or multiple MCPs advantageous SharePoint (permission/access issues) Click here for the list of benefits.
