The ideal candidate will be a strategic visionary, possessing a deep understanding of enterprise architecture principles and integration technologies, with the ability to align IT strategy with business objectives. This role will require a combination of technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and a forward-thinking approach to solving complex integration challenges. Key Responsibilities: The Enterprise Architect will be responsible for developing and implementing integration strategies that align with business goals, ensuring seamless data flow across systems. They will design and execute comprehensive integration solutions while overseeing architectural decisions throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring strict adherence to enterprise standards and best practices. This role involves collaborating closely with business leaders, IT teams, and external partners to understand business requirements and identify opportunities for integration. The Enterprise Architect will also be tasked with evaluating and recommending integration technologies, tools, and platforms that best meet the organisation's evolving needs. The role requires creating and maintaining detailed architecture documentation, including integration patterns, data flows, and technical specifications. Ensuring compliance with governance policies and regulatory requirements is also essential. The Enterprise Architect will stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, driving a culture of continuous improvement by identifying and implementing best practices in integration architecture. Qualifications: The successful candidate will have a bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent technical qualifications. They must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in enterprise architecture, with a strong focus on integration. The candidate should have extensive knowledge of integration platforms such as MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, IBM Integration Bus, APIs, SOA, microservices, and cloud integration. Leadership skills are crucial, as the Enterprise Architect will need to lead cross-functional teams and drive architectural initiatives. The role also demands superior verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are necessary, as the Enterprise Architect will be expected to address complex integration challenges and deliver innovative solutions. Preferred Skills: Certification in TOGAF, Zachman, or other recognised architecture frameworks would be beneficial. Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines, as well as an understanding of data architecture and data governance principles, would be advantageous for the candidate.
