General Summary:
The Currys Consumer Channel Account Manager will be responsible for driving retailer specific account management, partnering with sales counterpart on sell-in forecasting, and sell-through optimization. The account manager will focus on building channel relationships inclusive with category buyers at Currys. The selected candidate will manage sell-through activities with Currys while working cross-functionally within Qualcomm to build coordinated marketing campaigns that drive sales of compute products. The channel manager will focus on driving Snapdragon compute products into the channel and developing winning strategies to expand assortment and accelerate sales velocity with our channel partners.
Specific Responsibilities:
1. Execution of our account channel management and go-to-market planning for Currys consumer compute business.
2. End-to-end strategic account management at Currys driving optimal assortment.
3. Executing sales campaigns with channel partners that drive significant market share gains in the market.
4. Tracking the productivity and ROI of channel investments.
5. Exceeding channel quota for sales and impact.
6. Partnering cross-functionally with channel marketing and field sales programming.
7. Partnering with regional OEM teams to drive and launch products in the channel.
8. Developing and delivering on strategic account plans, timelines, and implementing programming.
Minimum Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
2. 5+ years in consumer electronic technology channel sales (e.g., sales to retail or e-tail), channel marketing, or management.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. 7+ years in Consumer Compute technology channel sales, channel marketing, or management. Direct background with Currys.
2. Significant channel sales experience and a proven track record of working with channel partners to grow their sales in new business segments.
3. Existing relationships with channel leadership and retail account owners at Currys.
4. Working knowledge of the Consumer Compute technology ecosystem and partners.
5. Ability to successfully navigate inherent challenges/obstacles of new product adoption and demonstrated experience in selling new or nascent technology/devices through channel partners.
6. Ability to communicate, educate, and evangelize both internally & externally.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Creative problem-solving with strong analytical skills.
