Role Summary:

Product Conformity
Ensuring product quality testing and record keeping for raw materials and finished goods as per Factory Production Control requirements to ensure lintel manufacture in accordance with EN 845-2
Ensuring product quality testing and record keeping for raw materials and finished goods as per Factory Production Control requirements to ensure floor-beam manufacture in accordance with EN 15037-1
Maintaining the Factory Production Control requirements for Recycled aggregate in accordance with the WRAP protocol
Manufacture of samples (cubes) and process samples (using cube crushing testing machine & rebound hammer) for 7/28 day conformity testing requirements
Be the site lead in providing competence training to operatives for cube manufacture and crushing to meet the above requirements.
Monitoring all strength data for conformity compliance in accordance with EN 206
Site lead for ISO 9001, floor beam FPC and Kitemark audit compliance and CAPA / RCA evidence.
Random finished product quality checks finish, wire position, dimensions to ensure factory operatives are complying with Technical department requirements
Responsible for inputting of all test data onto the quality drive
Follow without exception the Escalation Process in the event of an identified non-conformity and ensure successful resolution within necessary timescales.
Process Improvement
To continually work with Site Production Manager and Production Supervisors to reduce waste using pareto analysis and timely PDCA processes.
Be trained to perform Mixer/Batching and Caster Operations to support diagnosis of issues; process improvement etc. local and OEM training.
To coordinate, control and direct contractors working on site to carry out their required work in a safe and effective manner on the site batching plant and/or associated plant.
Lead site product/raw material trials, as determined locally or by the wider business, without operational detriment to the operation.
Optimise recycled material use in our site batching process to reduce virgin material consumption.
Liaising with Procurement and aggregate companies for technical data, non-conformities, contingency supply, and materials complaints management.
