Registered Service Manager - Residential Care (Complex Care & Younger Adults)
Salary: Up to £39,000
We are seeking an energetic and driven Registered Service Manager with a proven track record of turning services around to lead a small residential care service. The ideal candidate must have previous experience managing care home settings and expertise in complex care and younger adults.
As the Registered Service Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring high-quality care delivery, managing budgets effectively, and fostering a supportive and inclusive environment for both staff and residents.
What We’re Looking For:
* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
* Proven experience in managing residential care home settings.
* Track record of service improvement and turnaround.
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Excellent communication skills with a customer service focus.
* In-depth understanding of financial data and budget management.
* Previous CQC registration experience.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
* Service Leadership: Oversee the smooth running of the residential care service, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.
* Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of care staff to ensure the highest standards of care.
* Service Turnaround: Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance care quality and operational efficiency.
* Stakeholder Relationships: Build strong, positive relationships with residents, families, staff, and external agencies.
* Financial Oversight: Manage budgets effectively and ensure financial sustainability.
* Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with therapy, transport, catering, administration, care, and maintenance teams.
* Best Practices: Implement and maintain high standards of care service delivery.
