Job Title: Cable Assembler
Job Type: Contract, 6 month on-going
Location: Gosport
Salary: Up to £18.00 PAYE/ £23.76 Umbrella per hour
Hours: Monday-Thursday 08:00-16:30, Friday 08:00-13:00
This is an exciting opportunity for a Cable Assembler to join a progressive business within manufacturing. We are looking for candidates with Cable Assembler experience who have worked on builds of special-purpose devices.
Cable Assembler Role:
1. Building wiring harnesses and looms
2. Wiring, crimping
3. Electro-mechanical assemblies
4. Working from technical drawings and schematics
5. Conducting basic testing
6. Completing job cards and supporting documents
Required Experience for the Cable Assembler Role:
1. Previous Cable Assembly experience
2. Experience in wiring, looms, harnesses
3. Able to follow intricate drawings
4. Certified in IPC-620 or J-STD-001
5. Keen eye for detail and high standards
