Job Title: Sales Manager Location: Lancashire, UK Package Details: up to £45,000 plus 4k car and up to a massive 20k bonus Lavandi Talent are currently working with an award-winning beauty and cosmetics manufacturer renowned for their products with affiliations to some of the biggest brands within the industry Role and responsibilities: Account management - Be the company face of the business, managing all levels of commercial business activity for both existing and new customers. - Use your network and ingenuity to develop new business opportunities, managing the whole sales process from unearthing prospective customers, finding a solution for their needs, to onboarding them. - Regularly meet with existing customers and ensure a high level of interaction and visibility. - Keep up-to-date with market trends to ensure the customers’ business needs and opportunities are understood and met. - Identify new opportunities for business within new and existing ranges to drive sustainable, profitable customer growth. - Responsible for all negotiations and quotation submissions (including reviewing T&C’s and ways of working). - Lead and manage cost reviews for all customers to ensure margin is maintained and follows market changes as and when required. - Work with Finance to forecast annual/quarterly/monthly sales value and volume budgets. - Responsible for hosting customer visits and site tours. - Ensure the correct touch points are in place within the business to develop and grow function to function relationships. - Manage NPD (new product development) and EPD (existing product development) both internally and externally - Work with the customer to review, advise & feedback on formulations, proposed packaging & ingredient claims. - Manage internal costings & commercial offer to the client. - Management of conflicts to ensure team alignment and escalation to remove blockages as appropriate. Ideal experience - A proven track record of growing sales within Contract Manufacturing is essential. - Be able to work under pressure to strict and sometimes challenging deadlines, with the ability to prioritise own work. - New product development and project management experience, ensuring focus is maintained throughout the process. - Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook - Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. - Management of conflicts to ensure team alignment and escalation to remove blockages as appropriate. - Full UK Driving License.
