The Digital team consists of a talented group of producers, creatives, strategists, and web developers. With exciting growth prospects and new client opportunities, they are now looking to expand their ambitious team.
The Role
My client is seeking a passionate Web Creative to join their studio team. You’ll lead the creative strategy and execution of a wide variety of digital projects. This includes conceptualising and crafting front-end web designs and interfaces, developing creative concepts based on client feedback, and collaborating closely with strategists and web developers to bring ideas to life.
Projects will range from website designs and asset toolkits for social campaigns to dashboards and interface designs.
The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess strong problem-solving skills, and show a willingness to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
Reporting directly to the Digital Director, you will oversee and deliver high-quality creative projects that meet or exceed client expectations.
You should have in-depth knowledge of digital design and be confident working in a dynamic studio environment. Proficiency in Figma is essential, as you will be expected to use it for interface design, component creation, and prototyping. Strong web knowledge, best practices, and experience with grid systems and component-first design are crucial to ensure smooth collaboration with the development team.
Essential:
The ideal candidate should have a genuine interest in the video game industry, though prior experience working with video game specialist agencies or companies is not required. Experience working with entertainment clients would be advantageous but is not essential. Passion, creativity, and a collaborative mindset are what truly matter!
Key Responsibilities
On a day-to-day basis, your responsibilities will include:
* Delivering high-quality digital projects on time, within budget, and to specification.
* Shaping and communicating the product vision with your team.
* Executing creative solutions across all digital work, aligned with the company’s strategy, for both desktop and mobile platforms.
* Collaborating with the development team to ensure the technical feasibility of UI designs.
* Supporting project teams by employing a range of design techniques, from workshops and concept development to prototyping.
* Assisting Digital Producers with scoping creative projects, including providing time estimates for project budgets.
* Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams on client and internal agency projects.
* Effectively communicating with internal teams across projects.
* Participating in client meetings as needed.
* Contributing creative insights and deliverables for new business pitches and proposals.
* Staying up to date with industry trends and proactively implementing improvements in the company’s creative offerings.
Requirements
You should have a passion for creative work and digital technology, along with a genuine interest in the entertainment industry, particularly video games.
Essential Skills and Experience:
* A minimum of 5 years of industry experience, this is a top level Midweight position (Ideally someone who is looking to make their next step into a senior role in the future months / year.
* A strong portfolio showcasing high-quality, full-lifecycle digital design across web, desktop, and mobile platforms.
* Advanced proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
* An understanding of UX principles and user flows for digital products.
* Experience working with web best practices, including grid systems, component-first design, responsive design, etc.
* Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
* The ability to work independently and take ownership of projects with minimal supervision.
* Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to present ideas and design rationale to stakeholders.
Desirable Skills:
* Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Jira).
* Experience with motion graphics in After Effects.
* Exposure to 3D design for creative outputs.
* Branding experience, including logo design, identity creation, and key art.

Please note this is not a product design role, this job would be best suited to a creative who has started their career in a digital design position who has a knowledge of UI and can add creative flare to their web designs.
