My Public Sector Client is looking for a School Financial Advisor. This role is Temporary initially until December 2025. Working hours are flexible especially around school term. Candidate will need to have a couple of weeks to complete induction and training then the manager can look at Hybrid working. Location: Glenfield, Leicester Pay Rate: £16.11ph Main Responsibilities: Manage and monitor the financial records of multiple schools and colleges, ensuring they follow the Local Management of Schools Scheme and meet financial regulations. Help plan, prepare, and review annual school budgets in line with the school's development plan. This includes forecasting income and expenses, considering current laws and past spending patterns. Be able to project budgets for up to five years for long-term planning. Prepare detailed financial reports each month and analyse data to track budgets. These reports are shared with budget managers, headteachers, principals, and governors. Attend meetings when needed to provide accurate financial information. Work closely with various school staff and be a key member of the School Financial Advisor Team, providing support and advice as needed. The candidates must have experience within finance, be a good communicator and be able to work as a team. The candidate will be requested to visit schools, and expense can be claimed from office base to the location. The role will require a full clean driving license and access to a car to visit schools on-site. Systems used are SIMS (FMS), Access and Excel, experience is preferred, but there will be training
