Position: Office Administrator (Accountancy Practice)
Location: Full-time, Office-based
Salary Range: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum
About the Role:
We are looking for a highly motivated and proactive Office Administrator. This full-time, office-based role is perfect for an individual who is looking to contribute to a growing company and take on diverse administrative responsibilities. As an Office Administrator, you will be at the heart of our client's operations, providing essential support across various areas including client communications, invoicing, office management, and company secretarial tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
* Answering phones, greeting visitors, and managing outgoing post
* Providing administrative support such as drafting letters and emails
* Maintaining and updating databases
* Preparing engagement and disengagement letters
* Managing control spreadsheets for smooth office operations
* Performing company secretarial admin-based tasks
* Communicating with HMRC as required
* Assisting with invoicing and financial administration
* Supporting marketing activities and initiatives
* Providing general office assistance as needed
Requirements
Requirements & Skills:
* Previous experience working in an accounting profession is highly desirable, ideally with Iris experience
* Proactive, positive approach to work with a willingness to take on new challenges
* Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
* Keen attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work
* High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong sense of professionalism and confidentiality
Must be proficient in:
