SECAmb is currently expanding our workforce and actively encouraging applications from Newly Qualified Paramedics - 6 months post registration in the United Kingdom to secure an NQP position working for South East Coast Ambulance Service.
Main duties of the job

We are looking for empathetic and committed individuals who have registered with the HCPC and hold a BTECH Level 4, DipHE, FdSc or BSc award in Paramedic Science or Practice.
Newly Qualified Paramedic applicants must also have the ability to deal with stressful and sensitive situations whilst being highly motivated and enthusiastic. Our Newly Qualified Paramedics are supported in practice with a transition to practice programme, followed by a minimum of 300 hours preceptorship and ongoing CPD opportunities in protected paid time away from the operational role.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities

* Submission of an online application
* Interview at our assessment centre – based on Values and competency in a “multi-mini interview format”.
* A fitness test assessment
* A discussion with an operational lead to match you to the best area of SECAmb to commence employment (subject to vacancies).
You must also have a full EU driving licence with no more than three (3) points and the C1 category, before commencing employment with SECAmb.

* Hold a valid EU Driving License (No more than 3 endorsement points)
Please note that the salary range noted on the vacancy is in line with agenda for change (AFC) pay scales. All successful applicants would be placed automatically at the bottom of the banding, unless proven, relevant NHS or equivalent experience can be demonstrated.
