We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Advanced Cardiac Physiologist specialising in Cardiac Rhythm Management to provide high standards of care and support to patients in Hywel Dda University Health Board. We are recruiting to this post to specifically facilitate increased Health board wide Cardiac Rhythm Management capacity. Work base will be dependent on service requirement and successful candidate's circumstances - candidates are invited to enquire regarding options as part of informal application / interview discussion. We are looking for candidates with BHRS or IBHRE accreditation that is required to work without supervision as a competent Physiologist. Main duties of the job To liaise closely with the Cardiac Rhythm Management Team to develop and sustain the pacemaker service for Hywel Dda Health Board. To perform with competency and autonomy a range of in depth, highly complex procedure, interpreting results based on highly developed skills and theoretical knowledge. To work as an independent practitioner within a team, to deliver an effective and efficient service with high standards of care. To perform a full range of routine diagnostic procedures carried out within the department, including some highly specialised procedures. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
