The Employment Role: \n\nTES Junior Electrical Earthing Designer â Graduate Apprenticeship (GA)\n\nThe job role will typically involve: \n\ni)\tAcademic study and periodic reviews via the University of Strathclyde Graduate Apprenticeship (GA) scheme. \nii)\tCollection of field data (site-based surveys and measurements â e.g. soil resistivity testing). \niii)\tPreparation of design reports. \niv)\tPreparation of design drawings. \nv)\tPost installation testing and verification (site-based measurements). \n\nThe role will be supported by our senior designer(s) acting as a mentor. All industry specific health and safety training, industry software training, and report writing training will be provided via your mentor\n\nPlace of Work:\n\nThe working role is predominantly office based, with the current place of work as below: \n\n\tDalziel Building, \n\t7 Scott Street, \n\tMotherwell, \n\tML1 1PN\n\nAttendance at the place of work is deemed necessary to fulfil your role. It will also be necessary to undertake site-based work and therefore be prepared to travel, and occasionally lodge as part of the role. All expenses are covered by the company in advance of any remote working. Our work scope takes us throughout the UK, including the Highlands and Islands. \n\nWorking hours are generally Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm.
