We are recruiting Home Care Support Workers to join our Home Care team, providing person-centred care to our clients in their own homes in and around Sheffield to enable them to live as independently as possible. You will be responsible for providing a high level of care, individually tailored to each client based on their needs and personal preferences. The types of duties you may undertake include:
· Personal Care such as personal hygiene, dressing, undressing and bathing.
· General cleaning duties including; laundry, bed making and ironing.
· Preparation of snacks, meals and assisting with nutrition and hydration.
· Providing support with mobility
· Companionship, shopping, trips out
A full driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential for this role. Whilst previous experience in this type of role would be an advantage, it is not essential. We will provide you with full training, coaching and support to enable you to feel fully confident in your new role. A full enhanced DBS check is required for this role, which we will pay for. You will also be provided with your staff uniforms, ID badge and all other equipment at no cost to you.
As a growing business there are opportunities for development and progression for those who are interested, including short, bespoke courses and diploma’s in Health and Social Care.
In addition to this we offer competitive rates of pay as follows:
Monday to Friday, Days (7am - 10pm) - £12.30 per hour
Saturday and Sunday, Days (7am - 10pm) - £13.35 per hour
We also pay you for travel time between calls and a mileage rate of 45p per mile.
