The Rotherham Specialist Perinatal Mental Health Service is pleased to offer an exciting opportunity for a Band 6 Mental Health Practitioner with an interest or willingness to learn more about working in a specialist service.
We are looking to recruit a practitioner from a variety of backgrounds and would consider registered professionals such as Registered Mental Health Nurses (RMNs), Occupational Therapists (OTs), and/or Social Workers (SWs).
Rotherham Perinatal Team provides a Monday – Friday 9-5 service to service users residing in the borough of Rotherham.

Person specification
Qualifications
* Professional qualification (degree or equivalent)
* Evidence of relevant core profession i.e., RMN
* Evidence of continued professional development demonstrated by specialist knowledge and experience
* Formal therapies qualification i.e., CBT or similar
Experience
* Experience of working in a mental health setting, including working with patients experiencing perinatal mental health issues
* Experience of delivering brief therapeutic interventions
* Demonstrable experience, including community and working within a mental health setting
* Experience in managing a busy caseload/workload
* Ability to carry out moderate to intense physical effort throughout the working day and manage concurrent activities
