As a Business Administration – Customer Support and Operations Coordinator, you’re speaking to customers and shaping their perceptions of the business. With your friendliness, proactivity, and efficiency we can make sure that MJP is the go-to electrical company in the region.
Responsibilities include:
1. Managing customer enquiries from the first point of contact through to final follow-up and feedback.
2. Organising the engineers and ensuring jobs are scheduled promptly and accurately.
3. General admin tasks and communicating with customers.
Key Tasks:
1. Answering incoming telephone calls in a timely, polite manner.
2. Advising customers of our range of services that best match their needs.
3. Making outbound calls to customers for feedback at the end of a project.
4. Promptly responding to enquiries received by email and through Check-a-trade.
5. Keeping the customer informed with the status of their job.
Scheduling Jobs:
1. Accurately logging all new enquiries and service requests in the company systems.
2. Scheduling new jobs immediately in a suitable time slot for the engineers.
3. Preparing and managing the weekly engineer schedule.
4. Building a good rapport with the engineers in the field.
Business Administration:
1. Book-keeping.
2. KPI – Data entry.
3. File organisation.
4. Form filling.
Professionalism:
1. Working closely with the engineers and office team.
2. Having a strong understanding of the services we offer and a good general knowledge.
3. Speaking to customers in a friendly and informative way.
4. Reporting to the Operations Manager, Sales Manager, and Directors.
5. Escalating feedback from any unsatisfied customers to the Operations Manager.
6. Attending regular performance meetings.
Experience / Qualifications:
1. Experience of working in a fast-paced environment, whilst focusing on delivering exceptional customer service.
2. Scheduling experience in a similar role.
3. Expert using Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel.
4. Fluent in English.
