JOB PURPOSE (ROLE DEFINITION):
The Product Support Specialist will manage the Company’s infusion devices portfolio for private homecare and NHS hospitals in the assigned territory, and will promote, sell and provide after sales support for all the products in their range utilised predominately in Homecare, but also liaising with Acute Care when infusion therapy is applicable.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Responsible for promotion and sales of our Micrel ambulatory devices and associated products;
* Provide product support training for end user and support staff associated with the Micrel product;
* Investigate new infusion therapies that are appropriate to the Micrel range and provide market feedback;
* Plan and execute strategies to convert accounts in conjunction with the management team;
* Ability to make product demonstrations and negotiations with hospital clinical teams and homecare providers;
* Partner with team members and Business Unit Director executing sales strategies to convert accounts;
* Provide after sales product support and training provision to a competent level;
* Provide information to management including market trends, competitive activity, regulatory and product design needs;
* Coordination and manage key accounts within your territory including local homecare providers;
* Maintain thorough product knowledge including ability to demonstrate and position products versus competitive products;
* For business development, produce reports to management to qualify future investment;
* Collaborate closely with Technical Support, Marketing and regional Area Sales Managers to ensure customer satisfaction and that sales targets are met.
