Macks Solicitors is seeking an experienced and ambitious Head of Private Family Law to lead our highly regarded department. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled professional to take the next step in their career, driving excellence in family law services while mentoring and developing a dedicated team.
Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the Private Family Law department, ensuring the highest standards of legal service.
* Oversee a caseload of complex family law matters, including divorce, financial settlements, child arrangements, and prenuptial agreements.
* Provide strategic direction and drive business development initiatives to expand the department.
* Mentor and support junior solicitors, ensuring their professional growth and development.
* Maintain and enhance client relationships, delivering expert legal advice with professionalism and sensitivity.
* Stay updated with changes in family law legislation and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
* Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 10 years of experience in private family law.
* Proven leadership experience or a strong desire to step into a leadership role.
* Extensive knowledge of family law principles, procedures, and relevant legislation.
* Exceptional client care, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
* Ability to develop and implement strategies for departmental growth and efficiency.
* Strong business acumen and a track record of successfully managing a caseload while leading a team.
