Job Title: Health and Safety Officer
An opportunity has arisen for a full-time Health and Safety Officer within Autism East Midlands. This role is essential to ensure that we meet all statutory obligations regarding Health and Safety and provide a safe working environment for staff, students, service users, and visitors across all our services.

Responsibilities
1. Provide technical advice on all safety matters.
2. Assist in formulating Health and Safety strategies, policies, procedures, and statements of intent.
3. Ensure compliance with statutory duties and responsibilities.
4. Act as a role model, actively engaging in day-to-day safety operations when required.
Qualifications and Requirements
* NEBOSH accreditation or equivalent qualification.
* Membership of a relevant professional body.
* Evidence of ongoing training in Health & Safety.
* A full driving licence and comprehensive business insurance cover.
