Electrical Engineer Role: As an Electrical Engineer, you’ll be at the forefront of designing, developing, and testing advanced electrical systems. You’ll also play a vital role in ensuring reliability and efficiency. The role will be 75% practical and 25% design, so the individual must have some hands-on experience and not purely CAD/3D modeling. Electrical Engineer Responsibilities: Innovate: Design and develop electrical systems, including sensors, actuators, and control units. Document: Create and maintain electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and detailed operational documentation, such as SOPs and visual guides. Support: Provide technical expertise to manufacturing and production teams, creating standards, training programs, and hands-on assistance. Problem-Solve: Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues in both factory and field settings to ensure robust, reliable systems. Test and Evaluate: Conduct hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing, prototype evaluations, and ongoing design improvements. Collaborate: Work closely with mechanical, software, and firmware engineers to ensure seamless system integration. Optimize: Continuously review designs to reduce build times and electrical BOM costs without compromising quality. Stay Ahead: Keep up with advancements in technologies, such as electrification, ADAS, and autonomous driving. Maintain Compliance: Ensure all designs meet relevant industry standards. What You Bring: A Degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering or a related field, or an HNC/HND with relevant experience Relevant experience in electrical engineering. Strong understanding of electrical architectures, including power distribution, communication networks, and sensor technologies. Proficiency in electrical circuit design and analysis tools. Hands-on experience with embedded systems and microcontroller programming. Knowledge of industry standards and diagnostic systems. Familiarity with high-voltage systems, battery technologies, and 3D modeling/CAD software. Outstanding problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
