Salary:
£23,305 - £24,087 per annum. Pro rata for Term time / Option 1.
Working Hours:
1. Option 1 Term Time: 38.5 hours per week (x 38 weeks) plus 2 training weeks of 37 hours, totalling 1753 hours paid for inclusive of annual leave.
2. 8.30am to 4pm on Mon, Tue, Thur, Fri
3. 8.30am to 5pm on Wed
4. Option 2 Full Time: This is not a term-time-only position. You will be paid for 37 hours per week during each 12-month period inclusive of annual leave. Core hours during term time: 8.30am to 4pm on Mon, Tue, Thur, Fri; 8.30am to 5pm on Wed. Plus 2 training weeks at 37 hours. Additional hours must be worked during school term time or by assisting with transport runs before and/or after school hours.

Your Workplace, The School:
The physical environment plays a crucial role in setting the climate for learning. You will be working in a purpose-built state of the art facility. The new building is spacious, providing a calm and safe environment for pupils to thrive. Facilities include a sensory soft play room, multi-sensory room with immersive technology, sensory integration room, rebound therapy room, a 20-meter hydrotherapy pool with a multi-sensory sound and light system, and a courtyard garden. Class sizes are small, averaging 8 to 10 pupils. Each class is led by a qualified teacher with experience in meeting the complex needs of pupils, supported by a dedicated team of staff to maintain routines and consistent approaches.
The Training that is provided:
Staff will receive all necessary training for their roles, conducted during weekdays. Staff must be available to attend introductory mandatory training and refresher training as required. NVQs will be supported, with staff required to complete a relevant NVQ Level 3 qualification within 2 years of commencing employment.
