Job Description
The Senior Internal Communications Manager is responsible for driving corporate internal communications globally, ensuring that employees understand our strategy and corporate narrative.
This includes communicating technology vision and financial results, delivering messaging on the changes needed for successful business outcomes, and implementing the strategy for effective use of corporate comms channels.
The position reports to the Head of Corporate Internal Comms.
Responsibilities
* Deliver internal communications for strategic global change programs, so that internal audiences understand the change rationale and there is minimal disruption to the business.
* Assist with developing and implementing corporate internal communications strategies on behalf of Nokia's most senior leaders.
* Create impactful and innovative internal comms campaigns to drive engagement on corporate initiatives including Brand and Sustainability.
* Deliver quarterly financial results internal communications and strategic business updates.
* In collaboration with subject matter experts, deliver timely and effective crisis communications to ensure business continuity.
* Ensure a consistently high standard for governance, implementation of processes and use of comms channels across Nokia's virtual internal comms community.
Qualifications
* Excellent internal communications skills and experience, demonstrating knowledge of industry best practice, and the motivation to deliver creative and innovative comms solutions.
* 5 - 10 years' experience of business transformation and change communications in global matrixed organizations.
* Strong planning and project management skills, with the experience to understand complex business requirements and dependencies, and the confidence and ability to deliver robust comms plans and desired business outcomes.
* Strategic and analytical mindset together with a passionate, proactive, hands-on way of working.
* High ethical standards; able to manage confidential information and projects.
* Ability to manage and work collaboratively with a diverse group of executives, employees and partners, and simultaneously work on many company initiatives at once with a bias for action.
* Fast paced and flexible, able to work effectively in a rapidly changing, intensive and virtual environment across time zones.
* Fluent written and oral skills in English.
