Job Details Position: Nursery / Reception (EYFS) ASD Specialist Location: Basildon, Essex Contract: Full-time, full academic year Start Date: ASAP Salary: £83.33 - £100 per day Key Responsibilities Providing 1:1 support in a Reception class Assisting with phonics, spelling, reading, and writing in small groups and individual sessions Delivering creative and sensory-based learning activities Supporting non-verbal communication, with MAKATON experience preferred Offering personal care as required Requirements The school is seeking candidates with: A degree from a reputable university A strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum Experience or knowledge of working with non-verbal ASD students A positive and engaging approach to learning support The ability to work effectively within a large team Why Apply?
