Based in Norwich, we specialise in Engineering Master Planning, Due Diligence, Flood Management, Pre-Development Engineering, Drainage Design, Transportation Planning, and Highways Design.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable with creating Civil engineering designs, based on their calculations using software or from first principles and any research conducted. They should have experience with AutoCAD and be able to utilise strong design skills in order to create visual aids. By utilising strong organisational and communication skills, you will also have the ability to execute a project based on the criteria outlined.

As a Civil Engineer, you will play a key role in planning, design, and construction, working closely with an international team. This is a full time office based role for a Senior Civil Engineer based in our Norwich office at Pinnacle Consulting Engineers.
Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or related discipline
Sound knowledge of engineering principles, technical drawings, and planning data
Experience with Autodesk Civil3D, Vehicle Tracking, MicroDrainage or relevant Drainage Design software and AutoCAD
Understanding of the use of design tools within a BIM environment
Eager to learn and develop their skills and career with training support
Ability to work on Civil projects from the preliminary to completion stages
Demonstrable experience in the design of highway and civil infrastructure projects
Strong organizational, analytical, communication skills, design skills and report-writing skills
Sound knowledge of all building materials and the safe application of current construction methods and design standards
Experience in Flood Risk Assessment and Drainage Strategy Reports
Knowledge of the HOAI performance phases and work stages according to RIBA is an advantage
Communication and integration strength within the interdisciplinary planning teams
Independent, creative, project and goal-oriented way of working
High level of commercial awareness
Deliver design packages and engineer technical aspects for small to medium-sized projects
Able to utilise expertise to devise innovative solutions for complex engineering challenges
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure timely project delivery and target achievement
Willingness to travel on business, including in other European countries
