TPF Recruitment is proud to be working with a well-established and highly regarded accountancy practice based in Ramsgate, currently seeking a skilled Bookkeeper / Payroll Administrator to join their friendly and professional team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong background in bookkeeping and payroll who is looking for a stable, long-term position within a supportive and collaborative working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Day-to-day bookkeeping for a diverse portfolio of clients
* Preparation and submission of VAT returns
* Managing end-to-end payroll processes
* Ensuring compliance with current legislation and deadlines
* Liaising with clients to resolve queries and maintain strong working relationships
* Assisting with other ad hoc duties as required within the accounts team
Requirements
About You:
* Proven experience in a similar bookkeeping/payroll role, ideally within a practice environment
* Strong knowledge of accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks or Sage
* Good understanding of VAT and payroll regulations
* Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
* A team player with great communication and client-facing skills
