This post is a key leadership role and is an essential member of the establishment.
The post holder will act as the professional nurse lead providing clinical
advice, leadership development, monitoring and management of all nursing resources for general adult services within the designated clinical area, to facilitate excellent nursing practice ensuring the delivery of a high quality, patient centred service.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be a clinical nurse leader, working with the Management Team to identify opportunities for service change and improvement to encourage and enable advancement and development of associated evidence based services.
This person will be instrumental in developing and implementing the Clinical Governance frameworks and in giving professional advice in relation to the development of services, within the area/division. They will be responsible for the planning of care coordination and services within the service and with all stakeholders.
To develop the nursing workforce/services that contribute to the delivery of the local service plans, Health and Well Being Strategies, and other national strategies that are:

2. Liberate the potential of staff
The Nurse Lead is jointly responsible, along with other nurse leads for the leadership and development of the nursing team and monitoring and improving quality standards and patient experience, ensuring professional challenge occurring as necessary.
