About The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Partnerships Manager to join a friendly team on a permanent basis. This role will be looking after our Central and Western regions and could be based from either location.
The purpose of the role will include:
* Work alongside colleagues in Land, Planning, Technical, Commercial and Sales departments to advise on affordable housing in the design of site layouts, land viability studies and the planning and acquisition of land; embedding at concept stage to optimise project returns.
* Preparing and tendering the sale of units across the regional operating area working in conjunction with agents and consultants to achieve the highest commercial returns for the business.
* Coordinating the construction process for the client, ensuring the specification is followed on site and working closely with construction colleagues throughout the course of the build through to handover and beyond.
* Chairing meetings with colleagues, Registered Providers, their agents and external agencies on affordable housing representing the regional business.
* Forging strong partnerships with regional and national Registered Providers and for profit investors.
* Working meticulously with solicitors on contracts and all legal matters relating to the sale of the affordable housing pre and post contract.
* Preparation of reports and viability assessments.
About You
* Degree qualified (or equivalent). Proven track record delivering profitable affordable housing packages within a developer or housing association.
* Strong negotiating and numeracy skills.
* Experience of contractual negotiations and section 106 agreements.
* A collaborative and responsible member of a team, able to take accountability.
