Join Centrick - Senior HR Advisor / Manager Position
Hybrid (1 day WFH, 4 onsite) We are Centrick. Founded in 2005, we are a group of businesses dedicated to all things residential property, with a national presence. What do we do?
We provide building & estate management services for developments of all sizes. Additionally, we have specialised teams in:
1. BTR & Asset Management
2. Residential sales for local and overseas clients investing in the UK property market
3. A separate team focused on providing soft services such as cleaning, caretaking, and maintenance
This role is based in our HQ in Birmingham city centre, which houses many of our front-line teams as well as our group support functions including marketing, people, and finance.
Who are we looking for?
You’ll be a Senior HR Advisor or Manager with a passion for driving positive change and looking to work in a transformational People Team. You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping our people strategies within a supportive and forward-thinking team inclusive of dedicated:
1. Generalist
2. Talent Acquisition
3. Learning & Development professionals
For success in this role, prior experience in a dynamic and fast-paced organisation is essential. A background in service-oriented industries such as retail or hospitality or experience in an operational service-based or managerial role would be valuable. You’ll also possess demonstrable experience of effectively managing employee relations cases across various levels of complexity, and familiarity with TUPE (both in and out) would be advantageous.
What will you be doing?
No two days are the same, but the below gives you a flavour of some of the tasks you’d typically be involved with. Even if you can’t tick everything off from the list below but think you’ve got what it takes, we’d be keen for you to apply:
1. Responsible for all aspects of generalist HR in support of the People Director
2. Own policies and procedures, staying up to date with employment law changes
3. Able to “run” with a project, end-to-end, shaping the people experience across the group
4. Serve as a point of contact for employee relation issues, providing pragmatic guidance and support to managers and employees
5. Handle employee relations matters, including investigations, grievances, mediation, ensuring fair and consistent treatment
6. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to compensation and benefits
7. Support with system maintenance and payroll processing
