We have a very exciting Account Manager position to recruit for a company in Dudley. This company have been established over 40 years and are fortunate they have a very strong customer base.
The Account Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs are met and fostering strong, long-term relationships. The role involves managing a portfolio of accounts, developing new business opportunities, and coordinating with internal teams to deliver solutions that exceed client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
2. Act as the main point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and concerns.
3. Ensure timely and successful delivery of solutions according to client requirements and objectives.
4. Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas.
5. Prepare reports on account status and provide regular updates to management.
6. Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts.
7. Collaborate with the sales team to identify and grow opportunities within the territory.
8. Chasing your clients for feedback with the intention of converting your quotes into orders.
9. Coordinate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to deliver client solutions.
10. Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
11. Communicating with clients to obtain an accurate assessment of tender requirements
The candidate will have the following skills:
Proven experience as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Account Manager, or relevant role.
Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong negotiation and presentation abilities.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a keen attention to detail.
Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
High degree of professionalism and strong work ethic.
