Business Development Manager - Fluorescence Microscopy
Job Role: Global Business Development Manager – Fluorescence Microscopy Components
This role is designed to drive business growth by identifying and securing new OEM sales in emerging markets, fostering and developing strategic partnerships, and contributing to the expansion of capabilities and opportunities in these areas.
The Global Business Development Manager will report to the Head of Marketing & Business Development.
Key Responsibilities
* Identifying and capitalizing on high-value opportunities in rapidly expanding markets, developing a comprehensive understanding of the demand for LED illumination and associated technologies in these areas.
* Driving business development by converting new opportunities into sustainable, repeatable business growth.
* Building and maintaining strong relationships with strategic commercial partners and potential customers, ensuring the company is recognized as a leader in LED illumination and emerging technologies.
* Representing the company at industry conferences and exhibitions, educating and engaging the market in line with strategic goals.
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams to expand knowledge of capabilities for new markets and technologies.
* Contributing to the development of actionable, strategic business development plans that clearly define growth objectives and revenue targets.
* Monitoring and reporting on market activity and trends.
* Preparing and delivering insightful reports and presentations.
* Ensuring compliance with relevant Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental standards.
Impact and Contribution
As the Global Business Development Manager, you will support the Head of Marketing & Business Development in establishing a strong presence in new markets, particularly in OEM and emerging technologies. You will play a key role in driving revenue generation and helping the company achieve its growth potential.

* Excellent communication skills, with experience engaging stakeholders at all levels.

* Familiarity with CRM systems.
* A flexible and adaptive approach to change.
* The ability and willingness to travel internationally as required.
This position is based at our headquarters in Andover and offers a hybrid working model, with partial remote work available. International travel will be required to engage with customers and partners globally.
