The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality, tailored education to students with Special Educational Needs, ensuring they receive the support and guidance necessary to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. The role requires the ability to create inclusive and engaging lessons that cater to a diverse range of needs.
Key Responsibilities
1. Plan, deliver, and assess differentiated lessons in line with EHCPs.
2. Foster a nurturing and supportive learning environment.
3. Work collaboratively with SEN specialists, support staff, and external professionals.
4. Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to stakeholders.
5. Maintain high safeguarding and behavioural standards.
Requirements
1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS.
2. Experience working with SEN students, particularly those with ASD, ADHD, and complex needs.
3. Strong understanding of SEN teaching strategies and interventions.
4. Ability to differentiate lessons effectively to meet individual learning needs.
5. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
6. A commitment to continuous professional development.
