Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage the design process during pre-construction and delivery phases
* Coordinate design information across consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams
* Monitor design progress against programme milestones
* Chair design team meetings and workshops
* Ensure compliance with planning, building regulations, and CDM
* Work closely with commercial, construction, and planning departments
* Interface with client representatives and stakeholders
* Manage RFIs, document control, and value engineering reviews
About You:
* Proven experience as a Design Manager or Design Coordinator with a main contractor
* Background in leading projects through pre-construction and/or delivery
* Strong technical knowledge across construction methods and materials
* Experience with multi-disciplinary consultant teams and subcontractor design
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Familiarity with BIM, Common Data Environments, and digital tools
* HNC/Degree qualified in a construction-related discipline preferred
