• Ability to demonstrate the Trust values and work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team.
Desirable Criteria
• Previous experience in a hospital pharmacy or clinical trials setting (preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided).
• Knowledge of clinical trials, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and pharmacy regulations.
• Support the Chief Pharmacist and Clinical Trials team in providing a comprehensive and specialist pharmacy service for clinical trials.
• Assist with the ordering, receipt, storage, supply and monitoring of medications used in clinical trials, ensuring full compliance with current medicines legislation and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines.
• Maintain accurate trial records and assist in the preparation of documentation for regulatory and audit purposes.
• Provide patient counselling and medication information as appropriate for clinical trial participants.
• Ensure all investigational medicines are handled, stored, and dispensed in accordance with protocol requirements and safety regulations.
• Work collaboratively with the wider pharmacy and research teams to support the efficient and effective delivery of clinical trials.
