Sales Manager, permanent full-time,
* £45k – £55k (dependent on experience)
Permanent homeworker.
Core Responsibilities:
* Develop sales and marketing of service packages and spare parts in the UK.
* Work within the team to formulate, drive, and manage the development and execution of our clients and marine Sales Strategy to attract and expand new and existing business.
* Maintain and build strategic alliances with key end users.
* Review and prepare quotations, tenders, and commercial enquiries to secure sustainable growth in sales.
* Provide technical support to new and existing clients.
* Prepare and participate in our client’s product presentations to customers.
* Review and report on market requirements and development.
* Excellent knowledge of the UK rail sector.
* Excellent understanding of mechanical rail components; electrical systems knowledge would also be an advantage.
* Good experience of key account management and/or business development.
* Proven personal organizational skills and project/bid planning skills.
* Developed client contacts in the rail sector.
* Able to create a healthy pipeline and deliver sales orders.
* Able to prepare commercial offers with the support of the organization, engineering, procurement, etc.
* Good grasp of commercial and contract principles.
* Able to work independently and contribute to team goals.
Professional Experience & Education:
* Degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent such as HNC.
* Proven experience of proactive approach to produce new business opportunities.
* >5 years of experience in Sales in the UK rail sector is essential. Marine industry experience would be beneficial.
* Strong contacts in the UK rail industry.
* Able to produce Sales KPIs.
* Good presentation skills and ability to work independently.
* Excellent communication skills.
New Employees must pass a Drugs and Alcohol related Medical upon starting within the Company.

* Company Vehicle.
* Monday – Thursday, 8:30am to 16:30pm, Friday 8:30am – 15:30pm, a 36.5-hour working week.
