Weare seeking to recruit enthusiastic and motivated individuals to providephlebotomy care and support our nursing teams as part of our City CommunityTeam The post-holder will be responsible for performing domiciliaryvenepuncture and supporting the nursing team, as required, to the entitledpatient population.
Thesuccessful candidate will be supported and managed within the community team,led by the Community Team Manager and play a vital role in the delivery andaccess to timely care across our communities.
Main duties of the job
Thepost-holder will need good written and verbal communication, the ability to useIT, be flexible and adaptable, and have a proactive can-do attitude. Applicantsmust be comfortable working in a friendly but busy environment, all clinicaltraining will be provided, and all phlebotomy staff are supported to completethe Care Certificate within their first 6 weeks of practice (if not alreadyobtained).

Person Specification
Qualifications
* Venepuncture competency certificate
* Good standard of general education
* Care Certificate
* NVQ Level 3 in health care (or willingness to undertake).
Additional Criteria
* Access to a vehicle that can be used for business purposes and hold a full and valid driving licence.
Experience
* Experience of working with the general public
* Experience of working in a healthcare setting
* Experience of working in the community.
