Service ManagerHaverfordwest37 hours per weekWhat you will be doingProvide direct hands-on support and undertake On Call duties as requiredTo lead the team of colleagues, encouraging and coaching them to creatively problem solve and develop person-centred solutions to helping people achieve their desired outcomes, and ensuring they are skilled and confident in their role.Working alongside the Area Manager to ensure a safe service for the people we support and our colleaguesTo provide leadership and management to the team, monitoring performance and engage with supervisions, appraisals and team meetings.To develop, promote and ensure the effective delivery of person centred, outcomes-focussed support to service users.To Respect, Safeguard and Enable each person as an individual with the right to expect autonomy, choice and privacy.Provide guidance and support to the Assistant Service Manager to enable them to effectively manage all aspects of colleague’s performance within their areas of responsibility.Commit to own personal development, attending training when required and seeking development opportunities What you will needExperience supporting adults with learning disabilities in a social care settingQCF Level 5 in Care, Promoting Independence or Health and Social CareTo be passionate about supporting people to live an enriched life and fulfil their potentialKnowledge and understanding of the principles of confidentiality and privacyA good understanding of health and safety legislation and management in a social care settingA working knowledge and understanding of the Care Council for Wales Code of PracticeExcellent IT skillsA full clean driving license and willingness to travel for meetings and training.
