An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our team of support workers in Hawick. We are looking for an enthusiastic person to work with adults with learning disabilities. You will be working with people who have a wide range of needs, supporting them in their own homes to live full lives. You will be required to support them in maintaining their tenancies, attending activities, and being part of the local community, as well as many other things. Your main duties will include:
1. Working with colleagues as part of an effective and efficient team to support vulnerable service users.
2. Communicating and working well with individuals to provide individual care and maintain appropriate relationships.
3. Carrying out tasks in accordance with organisational policies, procedures, and guidelines.
4. Being responsible for supporting individuals throughout activities, giving positive feedback and encouragement.
