The Role
The post holder will support the Realistic Medicine clinical lead for NHS Lanarkshire. This will include the planning, managing and delivering of the Realistic Medicine Action plan. Although the post sits within the Evidence Department of the Quality Directorate much of the planning and workload will be directed by the Realistic Medicine team within NHS Lanarkshire.

What we'll need you to bring
* Degree level and or Postgraduate level qualification in e.g. business / management / change
* Experience and knowledge of health service management, including change management and service/workforce redesign acquired through training and experience
* Experience in Change Management Skills including improvement methodology
* Experience of managing clinical and organisational challenges
* Ability to handle complex work without supervision
* Ability to negotiate and facilitate change with staff and stakeholders at all levels
* Knowledge of planning, operational processes and systems
* Experience of working in a programme or project environment
It would be great if you also have
* Project Management training
* Some experience in analysing and leading improvement projects in realistic medicine, value based health and care approaches and on public health improvement
* Knowledge of NHS Systems
* Knowledge of realistic medicine six principles and value based health and care action planning and how these influence outcomes that matter to the organisation and for the population of Lanarkshire
* Evidence of supporting a multi-disciplinary team through successful action plan change
* Ability to analyse and interpret complex data sets extracting key information and communicating this effectively
* High level change management skills including improvement methodology
* Ability to motivate colleagues from a diverse range of specialities and professions
* Ability to support across the whole system, including acute, primary care and partnership partners

Fixed Term until April 2026
Full time
37 hours.
Location and Working Pattern
This role will be based in Quality within Kirklands - NHSL Headquarters
The working pattern for this role is 9-5pm, Monday to Friday.
