Machinist Engineering Lecturer
I am currently working with a college based in Derbyshire that are currently seeking a Machinist Mechanical Engineering Lecturer on a full-time permanent basis.
The College are ideally looking for someone who has previous training experience within Education however are still open to consider Machinist industry specialist looking to make the move into Education.
Requirements
1. Must hold a Level 3 qualification in Mechanical Engineering and it is desirable to hold an HNC/ HND or degree but not essential.
2. Have industry experience working within the field and able to operate Milling, Turning, Fitting & CNC machinery.
3. A teaching qualification is desirable and not essential.
4. Experience within renewables or a willingness to learn and upskill.
5. Previous experience training or instructing in the workshop.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students from a range of backgrounds.
7. A commitment to delivering high-quality teaching and learning, and to supporting students to achieve their full potential.
8. Hold right to work in the UK.

9. 49 days holiday (inclusive of 8 bank holidays and 6 closure days where these occur, pro rata)

Salary
12. Up to £40, per annum.
13. This role will be eligible for the new Government Levelling Up Premium Payments for Further Education (FE) teachers if you are in your first 5 years of teaching within FE. These payments range from £2, to £6, for the academic year -25.
