Job Description:
We are currently looking for two Planners to join our team and support our repairs and maintenance division. If you have experience in planning or scheduling works in a repairs and maintenance field - please get in touch!
Overview
As a planner you will be responsible for planning in and updating the trades work for a range of planned and responsive repairs and maintenance operatives including, for example, Electricians, Carpenters, Plumbers, Plasterers, Bricklayers, Gas Engineers and labourers to ensure works are planned effectively and completed promptly and fully.
Duties:
* Ensure allocation of work to the appropriate operative(s) is completed daily, whilst planning for future workloads in line with agreed targets.
* Assist the team with the effective planning of allocated work-streams (such as planned works, responsive repairs and compliance work streams), ensuring job completions are achieved within agreed targets and to required standards.
* Complete all related administration associated with a professional planning and technical service, ensure robust systems are in place to deliver all aspects of work and up to date and accurate information is maintained and readily available (including statutory and other compliance records).
* Ensure ‘no access’ and ‘follow on’ works procedures are managed and delivered in line with legal & regulatory requirements and best practice.
* Act as a first point of contact for any day-to-day enquiries and/or complaints received and assist in investigating and finding appropriate and timely resolutions.
* Deliver great customer care
* Escalate any complex issues promptly.
* Assist Technical Supervisors and Service Delivery Managers with performance management information and continuous improvement of the service.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Maths and English qualification
* Prior experience of scheduling repairs / facilities / trades maintenance works
* Understanding of legislation applicable to repairs, maintenance including and health and safety, preferred.
* Excellent planning, organisation skills with the ability to manage multiple projects/tasks simultaneously.
* Able to prioritise varied workload.
* Pro-active and positive approach
* Excellent customer service and stakeholder management skills
* Great communications skills, ability to build positive working relationships with a range of clients, contractors and employees.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and an eye for continuous improvement.
* IT Literate with strong Microsoft Office suite skills (including Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
Working Arrangements:
* Working pattern: Full time - 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
* This is an office based role (3-4 days per week minimum)
Up to £30,000 per annum (DOE)
