The Role
We are looking for people who are passionate about supporting our service users to access the community and develop their social skills, helping them make new friends and enjoy new experiences.
The successful applicant will become part of our team of excellent support staff in our supported living service in Whitley Bay. We work together with the people we support to ensure that they enjoy a quality of life that is second to none.
The successful applicant will be required to be a team player, working together with other staff, families, and the wider MDT to help our service users live fulfilled, happy, and active lives. We are looking for candidates who enjoy supporting our service users to go to the cinema, day centre, college, sporting activities, or just to the local pub. You will also be required to support our service users with their daily medication, finances, meal planning, and any medical appointments they need to attend.
Previous experience working within a similar setting is desirable but not essential, as full training will be given.
Shifts can be 12 hours a day, sleep-ins, or waking nights. The majority of our services require coverage during evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.

A good standard of English is needed for this role, and this role is not open to students due to restrictions on hours.
