They are experts in their field and always strive to deliver outstanding client services The Role We are seeking to recruit an experienced Senior Associate Conveyancer ideally with a minimum of 5 years' experience in all aspects of Residential Conveyancing, to join our Residential Conveyancing team in the Nottingham office. You will be handling your own caseload of Residential Conveyancing matters from inception through to completion. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to develop their skills in a demanding yet supportive team environment. Key Responsibilities: Dealing with all aspects of Residential Conveyancing transactions (Sales and Purchase, Leasehold and Freehold transactions, including New Build transactions, Re-mortgages, Right to Buy, Shared Ownership and Help to Buy Transactions) from inception to end. Delivering in line with client expectations and deadlines. Undertaking due diligence, preparing reports on title, dealing with elements of the contract and/or supplemental documents. Dealing with property aspects for financing transactions and certificates or disclosure of title. Management of own files (subject to supervision as necessary). Pro-active and conscientious approach to work. Strong ability to communicate with clients and other contacts in a helpful, confidential and efficient way. Experience of time recording. Experience of using document management system. Work closely with other departments within the firm on joint projects. Participate in the growth and future development of the department, assisting in building the client base and marketing the Firm's services. Comply with the Firm's policies in the carrying out of duties and to assist Partners and other fee earners in achieving a smooth output of work. Achieve agreed financial targets, both in respect of fee income and the recording of chargeable hours. Adhere to all Nelsons' policies, procedures and requirements - this includes maintaining the client database and following compliance regulations. Keep legal knowledge up to date and continue personal and professional development.
