Job Advert:Mobile Electrical Technician Location: Knowsley Schools,Liverpool Salary: £45,000 - £47,000 per annum Job Type: Contract About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing air conditioning, refrigeration, and chiller plant systems to ensure minimal downtime and maximum efficiency. If you're a proactive professional who thrives in a dynamic environment, we want to hear from you Key Responsibilities: Maintain and repair A/C units, refrigeration systems, and chiller plants Ensure F-Gas logbook is up-to-date and records are accurately maintained Conduct fault-finding, pressure testing, vacuum dehydration, and re-commissioning Collaborate with subcontractors and oversee service visits Support both Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance Maintain compliance logs, F-Gas reports, and health & safety documentation Participate in the on-call rota for emergency support Key Requirements: NVQ Level 2 in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration (or equivalent) 18th Edition Qualification (desirable) Strong experience with chillers, cold rooms, freezers, VRV/VRF systems, and AHUs Full UK Driving License Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Strong IT proficiency, including Excel & CAFM systems Why Join Us?
