Your Role
The purpose of this role is to ensure that products are processed and handled correctly throughout the hangar stores environment utilising MHE, manual handling and the appropriate computer systems to achieve and fulfil customer requirements efficiently, accurately, safely and in line with all regulatory requirements
Your Responsibilities
1. Complete the daily MHE safety checks (where applicable)
2. Carry out assigned tasks including: picking, goods receiving (if required), checking, loading & unloading of vehicles, hygiene,
3. MHE duties and the processing of returns-Packing and shipping as appropriate (according to training and task specific addendum) or working towards competence in this area
4. Carry out assigned administrative tasks including but not limited to: allocation of orders and the booking in and out of stock
5. Operate Warehouse Management Systems (Corridor) in accordance with task based work instructions and SOP’s and carry out other assigned computer based tasks as required
6. Actively contribute towards continuous improvement projects and ideas
7. Operate to trained work instructions. ABC Modules/ WI and SSow
8. Adhere to company standards as detailed in the Code of Conduct Policy
9. Promote the company’s policies on health & safety, quality, environment, induction and training, as well as other relevant matters in the company information manual.
10. Undertake any other duties that may be assigned and support the compliance of KPI’s
Your Skills and Experiences
11. Understanding of warehouse practises. picking, packing & loading
12. PC literate and understanding of KPIs
13. Customer service experience-Corridor/SAP experience preferred.
14. Full Driving licence is essential & Forklift licence desired, (training will be provided)
15. Medical fitness to hold Airside Drivers Permit, driving company vehicles and operating lifting equipment (MHE)
16. Medical fitness to work night shifts, suitably fit for manual lifting
17. Ability to work individually or as part of a team
18. Used to working in a fast paced environment
19. Reliable and committed to attending work on time
20. Good Communication skills – written and verbal-Accuracy & attention to detail, methodical and organised
21. Flexibility to task and hours
