Prospero Teaching is working with an 'Outstanding' Ofsted rated school based in Portsmouth, Hampshire, seeking a dedicated Secondary Teaching Assistant for September 2024.
This specialist setting caters for boys aged 11-16 with Autism alongside other Complex Needs, including SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health) needs.
Contract Details:
* Location - Portsmouth, Hampshire
* Position - Learning Support Assistant
* Contract or position start date - ASAP/September 2024
* Duration / Likely Duration - Ongoing
* Contract type - Temp/Perm
* Full time/part time - Full time
* Minimum rate of pay - From GBP 85.10 - GBP 98.20
* Hours - 8:30 - 16:00 (32.5 hours per week)
Experience, Training and Qualifications:
* Level 2 Teaching Assistant or equivalent (preferable)
* GCSEs: English & Maths
* Minimum 1 year working with children
* Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (or willingness to complete)
To Be Eligible for This Role Through Prospero Teaching, You Must:
* Hold Right to Work in the UK
* Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
* Provide two professional child-related references that cover the last 2 years
