Our public sector client seeks a Temporary Ongoing Part-Time Administrator based in Ards
Hours of work Thursday & Friday 8.30am-6pm (18 hours per week)
Rate of pay £11.67 per hour
Duties
* Input and extract patient information onto any relevant electronic information systems [EPIC and historical systems for information etc.] in order to provide an effective and efficient service.
* Call Handling
* Deliver patient care via recording urgent calls and processing to the relevant professional staff to enable timely care to be delivered to patients.
* Manage the systems to run pre-populated reports to manage daily patient workflows and work to ensure all targets are managed and processed in a timely manner. Where there are areas of concern use initiative to escalate to manager for direction and support to resolve.
* Scanning and uploading of documents onto electronic systems.
* Word processing /producing reports/working on computer systems.
* Supporting Team Leads to undertake patient information checks to assist audits.
* Actioning work queues to ensure patient data accuracy within Epic.
* Running Pre set reports and sending to professional managers
* Recording information on spreadsheets to capture activity within area.
* On a rota basis undertake duties to support professional staff with patient flows and record urgent care needed for patients.
* Responsible for assisting training and induction for new start staff within area of responsibility.
* Maintain electronic and manual Filing System.
Essential Criteria
* A minimum of 5 GCSEs (Grade A-C) to include English Language and Maths or equivalent qualifications or higher standard of education
AND
* 1 year administrative/ clerical experience
OR
* NVQ Level II Business & Administration or equivalent and 1 year administrative/ clerical experience
OR
* 3 years administrative / clerical experience
AND
* In addition to one of the above 6 months experience using Microsoft Office including Outlook, Powerpoint, Excel and Word is also essential.
* Must have have administrative experience in co-ordinating meetings and taking/transcribing minute
