Purpose of Post:
Responsible for spray painting buses, to a high-quality finish, in line with customer specifications.
Key Tasks:
* Responsible for the marking out and spraying of Basecoat and Direct gloss colours.
* Responsible for any touch up repairs and small paint repairs, prior to sign-off and vehicle delivery.
* Responsible for assisting paint preparation i.e., marking up vehicles prior to paint.
* Responsible for the safe operation of plant, equipment and/or hand tools associated with the paint-preparation & paint processes.
* Responsible for compliance with the companys Health and Safety policy procedures.
* Responsible for undertaking training or retraining associated with the post or the introduction of new working practices.
* Undertake any other duties conducive with the effective operation of the post.
