Teaching Assistant

Hours: Part-time, 8:30 am - 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday

Axcis is working with a specialist institution supporting students aged 2-19 with severe or profound learning difficulties. As a Teaching Assistant, you will provide essential day-to-day support to students, creating a nurturing and engaging environment.
Who We’re Looking For
1. Qualities: Flexible, reliable, resilient, empathetic and patient
2. Experience: Prior experience with children with special educational needs is essential; candidates should be comfortable working with students with autism, ADHD, complex needs and other learning disabilities.
3. Skills: Strong communication skills and the ability to build trusting relationships with students.
What We Offer
1. Facilities: State-of-the-art amenities, including a hydrotherapy pool, sensory rooms, and a main site alongside a post-16 facility, providing an all-rounded learning environment.
2. Compensation: Pay ranges from £95.29 to £105.29 per day, based on experience and qualifications, with weekly payments.
An enhanced DBS is required (or can be applied for).
