Nursery Teacher Position
Randstad is seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Teacher to join our team in Horley.
About the Role:
* Design and implement engaging age-appropriate curriculum and activities to promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development in young children.
* Create a safe, supportive, and stimulating learning environment that fosters growth, learning, and development.
* Assess children's progress, identify individual needs, and adapt teaching strategies to ensure optimal results.
* Establish positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues to promote a sense of community and collaboration.
* Collaborate with parents and caregivers to support children's learning and development at home and in the classroom.
* Maintain accurate records of children's progress, attendance, and behaviour, and communicate effectively with relevant stakeholders.
* Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills in early childhood education.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
* Previous experience working with young children in a nursery or early years setting.
* Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
* Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team.
