The Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Science Teacher to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and challenging lessons in line with the national curriculum, fostering a love for science in students, and supporting their academic and personal growth.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
2. Use a variety of teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
3. Assess and monitor students’ progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
4. Create a safe and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and achievement.
5. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share best practices, resources, and strategies.
6. Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and professional development opportunities.
7. Maintain accurate records of students’ performance and report to parents/carers and school leadership as required.
Requirements:
8. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
9. A degree in Science or a related field.
10. Experience teaching Science at the secondary school level is preferred.
11. Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Science.
12. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
13. Ability to inspire and motivate students.
